SACRAMENTO-
Deputies are looking for a teen who allegedly sexually assaulted an elderly woman.
On February 6, the teen got into an apartment at a senior living complex along El Paraiso Avenue, near Lemon Hill Avenue.
The older woman inside tried to take off, but was overpowered and sexually assaulted.
According to Sacramento County Sheriffs deputies, the teen then stole money and other items before taking off.
Neighbors near the complex say people jump over the back fence and onto the property.
“I think they need more lighting out here. Maybe a camera,” said Beverly Miner.
Investigators released a sketch of the suspect, who they say is a black man in his late teens.
Anyone with information about the teen suspect or this incident should call the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5070. Tip information may also be left anonymously at www.sacsheriff.com, by texting to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering the keyword SSD, or by calling (916) 874-TIPS (8477).
