Police in Sacramento arrested a man Thursday in connection with the death of his 4-month-old nephew in January.

Demosphesis King was unresponsive and rushed to the hospital the morning of Jan. 11.The 4-month-old died later.

The child’s uncle, 27-year-old Willis Lilly, was babysitting him while his parents were out of town, police say. Lilly’s roommate called 911 when he found the child not breathing.

An autopsy revealed that the child died from blunt force trauma to the head. Detectives believe Demosphesis got those injuries at the hands of Lilly.

Lilly was arrested Thursday.
