Sunny skies took over most of the Sacramento Valley Friday with temperatures peeking above 70 degrees.
“It’s the perfect day for a yard sale,” said Zeny Franks.
Friday, it was out with the old and in with the new for Franks and her daughter. The two had their space heater, winter shoes, and sweaters lined up on their Stockton lawn.
“We’re hoping to make a lot of extra cash today selling our stuff, and it’s a great, beautiful day to do it!” Franks told FOX40.
Aurielo Hernandez spent the day selling oranges on a street corner.
“This heat is strong out here today,” said Aurielo Hernandez. He’s hoping the warm weather will drive people to buy his oranges.
Throughout the valley, FOX40 spotted flip flops, tank tops and sunscreen. It felt a lot more like summer than it felt like the middle of February.
