Officials have identified the teenager killed in a rollover crash late Sunday night.
Liana Kotsura, 18, was the one thrown out from the back seat of a car speeding down I-80. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other teens were sent to the hospital. All four are said to live together and were on their way back from a trip to Starbucks.
The car was merging from eastbound I-80 to southbound I-5 at the time of the crash. CHP noted that the car was going so fast that the crash flipped the car onto westbound I-80.
Authorities do not believe that alcohol was a factor.
