Tehama Tornado Rated as an EF0

This funnel cloud was spotted north of Chico Tuesday afternoon around 1:30. Other funnel clouds and a tornado have been spotted in the area.

The National Weather Service has rated Tuesday’s tornado near Tehama as an EF0, with winds up to 74 mph.

A tornado and multiple funnel clouds were spotted in the small community of Gerber around 2:30 p.m. as serious storms rolled through Northern California.

Other funnel clouds were reportedly seen in the area, but only one tornado has been confirmed.

EF0 rated tornadoes have wind speeds up to 85 mph.
