Three Aggressive Suspects Wanted for String of Armed Robberies
Three businesses, two along Northgate Boulevard and one business along Grand Avenue were robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday night.
Police believe the robberies were done by the same three suspects.
The first robbery happened around 8:32 p.m. at a restaurant near Grand Avenue and Willow Street. Two employees at the restaurant were said to have been physically assaulted by the suspects, who robbed the place at gunpoint.
About an hour later, near Northgate Boulevard and Peralta Avenue, a liquor store was also robbed at gunpoint. The two employees of the store were also physically assaulted during the robbery.
Then, less than 10 minutes after the liquor store robbery, police believe the same suspects hit another business about a mile north up Northridge. Officers already in the area tried to make it to the scene, but couldn’t in time to catch the suspects. Again, the employee reported that the suspects were aggressive.
The suspects took cash in all the robberies.
Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to contact the Sacramento Police Department.
