Driver Taken to Hospital After Accident

SACRAMENTO -

An overnight accident sends one to the hospital.

A driver of a Mercedes was rear ended by a Nissan Sentra in Sacramento early Thursday morning.

The accident happened on northbound I-5 just north of 43rd Avenue around 1 a.m.

CHP said the driver of the Sentra was not DUI or injured from the accident.

Traffic on I-5 was not affected.
