The arrest stemmed from an investigation into the man, 47-year-old Gold River resident Jack Holsey.

Deputies served Holsey’s home near Gold River and Coloma roads a search warrant on Friday, finding a cache of a dozen machine guns, drugs, and “other contraband.”

Holsey was arrested and now faces charges of possessing an assault weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of child pornography.
