UPDATE: Authorities say she was found safe.
Yuba County authorities are asking for help in finding a 15-year-old girl who went missing Friday.
Adriana Miranda Gonzales is said to have left her Arboga Road home Friday morning, riding the bus to school.
However, authorities say that Gonzales didn’t go to any of her classes. Instead, she apparently called a friend of hers to say she wanted to be picked up at the Tower Mart Gas Station just down the block from the school.
Authorities also say that another friend got a call from Gonzales later Friday afternoon. She reported that she was fine, although she didn’t say where she was or who she was with.
Since Friday, no other friends or family have heard from her.
Investigators say they are treating the disappearance as an at-risk case because Gonzales’ family notes that her behavior is out of the ordinary.
