Family Relieved to Hear Report about Couple Found in Peru
Jennifer Neal describes the first thing she’ll do when she sees her sister Jamie.
“Give her a hug and spank her.”
She thought the worst after not hearing from her sister, who is vacationing in Peru.
But, good news came on Tuesday.
“They just called me 10 minutes ago … Good health and they were fine,” Neal said.
The first news Jennifer has heard about Jamie and Jamie’s boyfriend since their last communication on Jan. 25 in a Facebook posting.
“I’m just not going to listen to anybody until she calls me,” Jennifer said on Saturday.
Panic and fright after no word from the pair in a month, especially after the State Department had warned Americans of kidnappings in the area.
Jamie’s twin, Stacy Fingers, is relieved. But, the fear was all too real.
“Tell her how much I was worried about her and how I wish that they would have kept in contact. Hopefully they just didn`t have reception,” Stacy said.
But both sisters remain cautiously guarded until they h ear from Jamie herself.
“We’re a little relieved. We hope that it`s true information,” Stacy said.
