Cameras Roll as Woman Hears from Missing Sister

SACRAMENTO-

After more than one month of not hearing from her sister, Jennifer Neal can finally breathe.

Jennifer read a Facebook post from her sister, Jamie Neal, who posted it just nine minutes before she saw it.

“Oh my gosh. It says, ‘I’m sorry if you have been worried. We’ve been traveling through the Amazon, and the villages do not have electricity, let alone internet of phones.’”

Before Wednesday, though, the family thought the worse.

Jaime and her boyfriend left in December to bike through Peru.

Since then, they’ve posted on Facebook, including countless pictures. But then the postings abruptly stopped for weeks.

“ We are now stuck on a military base in Pantoja, Peru, and everyone is interviewing us and taking photos, saying that we are now famous in Peru,” Jamie’s post read.

“So she’s writing. and when was that posted, Jenn? How long ago?” Fox40 asked.

“Nine minutes ago… Oh my gosh… This has been so nerve wracking.”

Relieved, but still, Jennifer just wants her sis back home.

“I wanna put her in a headlock.) I’m just gonna hug her, and tell her I love her,” she added.
