California’s political watchdog group, the Fair Political Practices Commission, has released documents that reveal the gifts lawmakers received from outside interests.
“The Commission believes that it is important to provide timely public information about financial interests which may lead to conflicts of interest in an easily accessible way,” the Commission’s Chair Ann Ravel said in a statement. “Commission staff worked tirelessly to post the forms so quickly.”
In 2012, documents reveal Governor Brown received Lakers tickets, dinners bought for by various companies, and White House cufflinks.
