SACRAMENTO-

One year after her body was discovered, the Rosemont community gathered to mourn the loss of 13-year-old Jessica Funk-Haslam.

Investigators have no suspects. They have received many tips, but none that pan out or point them in the right direction. They do believe the attacker was someone Jessica knew, but that is where it ends.

Thursday, more than 100 showed up at the park to remember Jessica and to talk about what happened to her more than a year ago. Family, friends and the community are hoping the attention will make people think about the horrible murder and lead someone to come forward with information about Jessica’s death.

There is still a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of whomever is responsible for Jessica’s death.

If you have information the case, you’re asked to call the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department at (916) 874-5115.
