This wild turkey paid a visit to the FOX40 Studio Tuesday morning.
These game birds are said to roam about 18% of the state, according to the Department of Fish and game.
As the weather heats up, expect to see more of these birds roaming the streets. A particularly flock of wild turkeys can be found in at the Davis Cemetery in Davis.
Spring season for hunting wild turkeys starts on March 30. Hunters have a limit of three birds per season, and need to obtain a hunting license.
But, if your property is being damaged by wild turkeys, you can get a special depredation permit from the Department of Fish and game to get rid of the birds.
