SACRAMENTO—
Police arrested 52-year-old Edward Collins after he and a group of people were allegedly loitering at an abandoned gas station Tuesday morning.
Officers showed up at the corner of N 16th and McCormack streets just after 9:30 a.m. after someone called 911 and hung up.
At the scene, they found a group of people loitering.
One of them, Collins, was found to be on parolee and was arrested for a violation of it. He is still listed as in custody at Sacramento County Jail as of Wednesday.

I agree! How is this news?! At least he was not arrested for rape, murder, or stealing! This is just allowing the public to judge and beat down a person for looks and their past. No wonder people don’t change. Society does not give them a chance. So then why would they of they live in constant judgement and assumption?!?!

its a slow news day. When that happens the local news likes to drag someone through the mud and ruin good reputations or tear down any sort of basis for a good reputation for people that are trying to start over. Although it IS a crime to be in the presence of other criminals, former or current, for someone who is on parole or probation.
