A hole burrowed through a Permanent Cosmetics business business and into the next – all signs police say that someone was intent on doing wrong Friday at the corner of Fair Oaks and Greenback.
“They came in through the roof access. The business they entered was actually a vacant business,” said Lt. Ryan Kinnan with Citrus Heights police.
It appears the burglar made several holes in Linda Woods’ Permanent Cosmetics clinic, before succeeding in kicking his way through to the ‘In and Go’ market next door.
The heist happened sometime between midnight and 8 a.m.
Across the parking lot, Sally Sarabizadeh and her alterations shop haven’t had any problems in this spot during the last 15 years but she’s concerned that the area is changing.
“We are so worried about it. They are our neighbors. Maybe some day it’s going to happen to us. Maybe put more police around here,” said Sarabizadeh.
Officers say no electronic eyes were watching out in the parking lot when all this went down.
Surveillance cameras did capture someone in a green and maroon hooded sweater inside ‘In and Go’ stealing cash.
Police have not released those images.
