Teens texting and driving seem to go hand in hand, but a new study reveals that isn’t necessarily the case.
The study, taken from a pool of more than 1,000 consumers, found that adults actually text while driving more than kids.
And get this: nearly half of all adults text while driving and what’s worse, 98 percent of them know it’s wrong but do it anyway.
The National Safety Council says there’s about 180 million adult drivers who outweigh the 10 million teen drivers.
An average of nine people are killed in texting-related accidents every day.
AT&T conducted the study.
