13-year-old Ends Up in Juvenile Hall After Falsely Reporting a Robbery

A young boy falsely reports a robbery and ends up in juvenile hall late Thursday afternoon.

According to Woodland Police, cops arrived at an apartment complex near North College and Woodland Avenues after they got a call saying a robbery was in progress.

Police found two men in their late teens shortly after walking a few blocks away with the supposed stolen property.

Anjay Singh, 18, was arrested for robbery, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property and booked at Yolo County Jail. A 17-year-old was also arrested and booked at Yolo County Juvenile Hall. They were both released without charges after cops figured out that a young teen made a false police report.  That 13-year-old was booked into juvenile hall for misleading the police.
