KANDAHAR, Afghanistan-

Four airmen were killed Saturday in a plane crash near Kandahar, Afghanistan, including two from Beale Air Force Base.

Captain Reid Nishizuka, 30, and 24-year-old Staff Sergeant Richard Dickson, both of the 306th Intelligence Squadron, were killed. Dickson was originally from Rancho Cordova.

No apparent enemy activity was reported in the region and investigators are working to figure out how the MC-12 Liberty plane went down.
