Empty Gas Tank, Freight Train Lead to Baby Born in Sam’s Club Parking Lot
There were a few things keeping little Alexandre Miguel Rosales’ parents from getting to the hospital to have their son, but he just couldn’t wait.
Alexandre was born in the parking lot of a Sam’s Club in Sacramento.
The baby’s parents, Josephine and Fritz, hopped in the car Friday night after Josephine’s water broke. There was just one problem, though. The Rosales’ car was just about out of gas.
After fueling up, Josephine and Fritz found themselves stuck behind a 90-car freight train. That’s when they pulled over into, where else, the Sam’s Club parking lot.
“I said, ‘Honey, you gotta push hard,’ and the baby slid out and landed on my forearm,” Fritz, who has no medical experience, told FOX40 Monday.
The delivery took all of 60 seconds.
