California Auctions Off Cars
Governor Brown said his government doesn’t need hundreds of cars, trucks, trailers and boats, and they are now going on the auction block.
Wednesday morning, more than 350 vehicles of all kind will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. More than 100 of them are approved to drive off the lot, others may need to be towed.
It’s happening at the Davis Auction Yard along Chiles Road in Davis. The auction starts at 9 a.m.
Governor Brown eliminated all non-essential cars, and state agencies identified a total of 7,000 vehicles to get rid of.
