Your cellphone: so sweet, so innocent…so needy!

With one in three girls becoming pregnant at some point by age 20, wanted to start a conversation, by knocking up teenagers cellphones. Seriously.

Here’s how it works, you text “BABY” to 38383 and if your friend or child says yes, a helpless little infant is delivered right to their texting thumbs.

“It wakes you up at 6:30 in the morning to tell you that it’s awake and you need to be, too. It tells you when it’s hungry, when it needs to be changed, when it’s tired or crying when it doesn’t know how to tell you what it wants…it simulates that situation,” says Alyssa Ruderman of

The text message “baby” is ready to disrupt teenage dreams and send them firmly to the reality of parenthood.

“If you tell them that tomorrow they’re not going to be able to go to the movies or they might not be able to fit into their homecoming dress, that really resonates and everything sort of stops,” Ruderman said.

A phone app does not come close to the real thing…… what they need to do is spend one week with a real infant doing all the duties that the mother would normally do, while the mother relaxes an supervises!

All these"egg babies", or "sugar babies" or "app babies" teach NOTHING! Teenagers need to be taught responsibility, and how to be accountable for their own actions. Too many teenagers these days act like victims: nothing they do has made their life the way it is, they are just a victim of circumstance.

Perhaps if we as a society were more open about talking about sex, and the results of unprotected sex, and STOPPED supporting teens who decide to get pregnant, THEN they would stop and think before trying to get pregnant……
