Robbery Victim Steals Suspects’ Car

With guns showing, police say two men tried to rob a Burger King Thursday. But, there was one big problem with their plan.

When they came outside, police say their vehicle was missing.

According to Stockton police, a Burger King employee took the suspects’ car and drove it around the block, out of sight, while the robbery was happening.

Police arrested the alleged robbers, 23-year-old Jeremy Lovitt and 19-year-old Gabriel Gonzales, in a nearby field, after they fled on foot.

The two were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail; they denied our request for an interview.
