STOCKTON-

Richard Alcaraz, 22, sat in San Joaquin County Court Friday as the district attorney announced three charges against him.

Premeditated murder was among those charges.

Alcaraz was flown from Mexico this week after surveillance video of a 2012 homicide at a market in Stockton lead U.S. Marshals to find Alcaraz in Cabo San Lucas.

The surveillance video shows two men opening fire on the store clerk at Paisano Market in Stockton. The clerk was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Alcaraz is being held at $3.5 million bail. He’s scheduled to appear in court again on June 6.

Investigators are still searching for the other person in the surveillance video. If you can identify the person, please call Stockton Police.
