Police: Tow Truck Driver Shows Up to Accident Drunk
When Marysville cops called a tow truck to respond to a car accident in the area of 10th and H streets earlier this week, they didn’t think they’d end up arresting the two truck driver.
But when officers noticed he had booze on his breath and trouble putting a damaged car on the flatbed of his truck, they did a field sobriety test, which he failed.
Failed because Police Sergeant Christian Sachs said his blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit.
The man was booked into the Yuba County Jail for suspicion of drunk driving.
