A dog was rescued from inside a hot car outside a Sacramento mall Monday, and animal control was already enroute to two others.
Arden Mall security officials say a small dog had been left inside a car for about two hours. Animal control and mall security got the dog out around 1:30 p.m.
Using a thermometer, the car was about 125 degrees inside at the time the dog was taken out.
Moments after responding to this incident, animal control says they got word of at least two other animals being left in hot cars in the area of the mall.
