The person of interest named in Monday’s arson turned double homicide investigation has been found dead in Southern California, sheriff’s say.
Detectives had been talking with Huntington Beach authorities about a possible connection between the investigation and a case where two bodies were found in a rural park early Tuesday afternoon.
Abraham Felmley was named as a person of interest in the arson turned double homicide investigation later Monday after a carjacking case near Merced.
Sheriff’s say that one of the men found dead in Huntington Beach is, in fact, Felmley.
Felmley is said to have been driving a pickup truck that was taken from the scene of the fire. That truck and Felmley had later pulled up to man out fishing near Highway 152 and robbed the man of his phone and keys.
