Man, 74, Attacked by Group of Teens that Broke His Window with a Soccer Ball

His head is bruised and his arm is in a sling, after Woodland Police say 72-year-old Sohan Lal was attacked by a mob of teens.

I asked Sohan Lal, how he was doing. He used one word to describe how he felt: “pain.”

It all unfolded Thursday night, after a group of teen boys were playing along Summerwood Drive. Lal heard glass break and realized the teens were kicking a soccer ball that broke his window. Lal came outside to talk with the teens, that’s when a confrontation ensued.

“One of the juveniles assaulted him with a scooter, it was like a push scooter that he had,” said Lt. Anthony Cucchi with the Woodland Police Department.

That scooter, made of strong metal, was used as a weapon.

The teens fled in different directions, but police say they live in the area and it won’t be long they’ll be brought to justice.

Kids like these should be put in a work camp and their parents stripped of all public benefits.

Hope the punks are found and they and their parents are taught a lesson due to the repercussions.
