Woman Arrested for Assault with Knife

AUBURN —

Auburn police say the assault happened in the 200 block of Lincoln way. Authorities say Amanda Standridge, 26, barged into a private residence and starting beating up a woman who lived there.

Officers say Standridge turned on a man who tried to break up the fight and then chased the woman through the house with a knife.  The woman under attack made it out of the house, but police also say Standridge broke several windows in the home during the confrontation.

Auburn police charged Standridge with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, Vandelism and Trespassing.  Her bond was set at $25,000. Standridge has posted bond and been released from the Placer County Jail.
