SACRAMENTO COUNTY—

Antoinette Lugo heard about a shooting and walked down to find out what happened

As she got closer she saw her husband’s truck and hit the ground in pain.

Her husband of 10 years and a father of 10, 43-year-old Colen Lugo Sr. was killed.

Deputies have not identified the victim, or released to many details, but Tyler Doll witnessed the shooting.

He was across the street working on the roof.

“I saw the van there and I saw like two males backing up off the van and they both had hand guns in their hand, one had a bag with them and they ran off,” Doll said.

Doll immediately jumped into action and raced toward the victim and got there about the same time as several other witnesses.

“The driver of the van was leaning over into the passenger’s seat,” Doll said.

“We checked his pulse he. Had a little pulse, he was still breathing,” said Brian Morris, another witness.

Moments later deputies were on the scene, but witness says they don’t think this was random. Drugs were scattered everywhere.

“There was weed everywhere, all over the sidewalk, on the seat,” Morris said.
