Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two people Wednesday morning after a reported burglary at a convenience store in south Sacramento.

Thieves broke into the store on Fruitridge Road and Dewey Boulevard just after 4 a.m. Deputies say they showed up not long after, and caught two people at Fruitridge and 44th Avenue after a brief chase.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Rosalynn Smith and 26-year-old Demonte Smith.

Two others are still outstanding, deputies say.
