TOULUMNE COUNTY –
Cooler temperatures and high winds could start this fire right up again.
A Red Flag warning went into effect today for the Stanislaus National Forest through midday tomorrow.
The Incident Command said the winds could ignite flames up again, especially in the areas within the perimeter that didn`t burn.
Firefighters are continuing to mop up and patrol fire lines. Fortunately, no structures are threatened.
But with cooler temperatures in the 70’s and winds up to 15 miles per hour, firefighters said ridge tops may have gusts up to 20 mph.
Tithe fire will continue to spread slowly east of Cherry Lake and north of Hetch Hetchy Reservoir.
