RANCHO CORDOVA—

Authorities are asking for help in finding a man who has been missing since Oct. 4.

Douglas Reeves, a 62-year-old Rancho Cordova man, left his home on Oct. 4, telling his wife that he was going camping in either the Plumas National Forest or the Lake Tahoe National Forest.

The man said he would be back by Oct. 10, but he has not been heard of since leaving home.

Reeves was driving a green 1988 Dodge Ram with a green and white colored camper shell, with the California plate number 5T49941, at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone who sees him or knows where he may be is asked to call the Rancho Cordova Police Department at (916) 362-5115.
