Two men were shot about an hour apart Sunday night in Fairfield, and investigators believe the two are connected.
The first shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. along East Travis Boulevard. Police say a 30-year-old man had been shot in the chest.
An hour later, officers say another person was brought to the hospital with gunshot injuries in the leg and shoulder.
Investigators say both victims have criminal backgrounds, and are both expected to survive their injuries.
