A pipe burst at a nursing home.

SACRAMENTO -

Water gushed out from the Emerald Gardens Nursing Center in Sacramento after a pipe burst on a very chilly Friday morning.

The burst happened around 5:30 a.m. on 24th Street near 53rd Avenue and affected two buildings. Twenty-five people had to be moved to another building at the center.

Drinking water at the nursing center is fine. The water from the pipe affects the water firefighters would use if there were a fire.

The water flow stopped around 6:30 a.m. No one was injured.
