Woodland Police: Six Arrested in Huge String of Burglaries

WOODLAND-

Police in Woodland say they’ve arrested six people in a string of more than 100 burglaries Thursday, but one person is still outstanding.

The burglaries happened during November and December of 2013.

Officers arrested Mark Lasonde, Kimberly Lalley, Jose Garcia, Blanca Hernandez, Elia Garcia and Salvador Villa on a variety of charges. Each person was booked into the Yolo County Jail.

Investigators are still looking for 23-year-old Mario Lopez. Police say he is to be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who knows where Lopez may be is asked to contact Woodland Police.

Woodland Police worked with West Sacramento Police, the Yolo County Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, Yolo County Probation and the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office in the investigation.
