Four cities in the Sacramento Valley area are in the top 10 of best cities for young families.
The study ranked cities and communities in California, based on their public schools, affordability and the area’s economy. The website behind the study, Nerdwallet.com, said they wanted to find the best cities for young families to get the most bang for their buck.
The Fresno County city of Clovis came in first, followed closely by Folsom and Yuba City. The study highlighted Folsom’s graduation rates and Yuba City’s affordability, in addition to both having a variety of options for families to get out and have fun.
Roseville and Davis came in at #8 and #9. Both getting high marks for their education systems and outdoor activities.
