Seeing Red? Buildings Lit Up for Heart Disease

Friday is National Wear Red Day to raise awareness of heart disease in women.

Some buildings in downtown Sacramento got an early start Thursday evening, displaying red lights.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one killer among women.

A fashion show featuring heart disease survivors, cardiologists and volunteers will begin at noon Friday. The event is free to the public.
