A North Highlands woman says her neighbor’s Pit Bulls chased her daughter and their Chihuahua back into their apartment and cornered them Saturday.
“How can you just go out, just a casual potty for the dog, and all the sudden hell breaks loose?” Barbara Clark Brown said.
The hell she’s talking about are her neighbor’s two dogs who live in her apartment complex. They are Pit Bulls she says chased daughter and dog all the way home, and into their home.
“My iron is bent right here because I hit the dogs so hard,” Jacobie Lawson pointed out. “It really didn’t phase him.”
She says after one of the 100+ pound dogs got the her house, it went after her Chihuahua – Koko.
Neither of the dogs or the people were hurt in the incident, and the intruding dog left when someone it was apparently friendlier with, a neighbor, called it away.
But despite Clark Brown’s calls to animal control and police, the dogs still live in the same apartment complex.
The owner was reportedly issue a citation for the incident.
