Auburn Women Arrested for Drug Use in Restaurant Bathroom

AUBURN-

Police arrested two women for using heroin  in a restaurant bathroom, according to the Auburn Police Department.

Officers responded to a call from a restaurant on Grass Valley Highway regarding two people possibly using drugs in the bathroom. When police arrived, the women were in the bathroom injecting heroin with a syringe. One woman also had prescription medication that did not belong to her.

The two women arrested were Whitney Ross, 25, and Danielle Vaughn, 20, of Auburn.

Ross and Vaughn were booked into Placer County Jail. Ross was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a prescription medication without a prescription, and drug paraphernalia, and Danielle Vaughn was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.

Ross was released on a $20,000 bail, and Vaughn is being held on a $10,000 bail.
