Sacramento County Fair: Rides, Tigers and Food, Oh My!

Thursday is the kick-off for the 78th annual Sacramento County Fair, held at Cal Expo, including plenty of fried food and everything that moves.

This year’s fair has plenty of rides, and will feature rescued animals like tigers, and racing pigs.

It’s $5 to get in, kids under 12 are free. Gates open at 10 a.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and stays open until 10 p.m. each night except Monday, which closes early at 7 p.m.
