IMPERIAL (KSWB)-

A military plane from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma crashed into at least one home in Imperial Wednesday, military officials said.

A AV-8B Harrier jet crashed into a residential neighborhood Wednesday at 4:20 p.m. at Fonzie Avenue and Cross Road, according to Marine Corps Air Station Yuma officials. The pilot ejected from the aircraft and was reportedly safe, but taken to a hospital for evaluation.

It was unknown if anyone was injured.
