Evacuation orders were lifted Thursday afternoon for the Berryessa estates.
However, the Butts Fire was still burning Thursday. Cal fire says 4,300 acres had burned as of early Thursday evening, and reached 45 percent containment.
Crews from across the region worked together to put out hot spots. They cut down potentially dangerous trees down and worked towards a larger plan of attack; a fire operation, which is a new fire Cal Fire ignited to try and burn vegetation and prevent the fire from spreading.
Strong winds and hot weather are half of the battle as an inmate crew was treated for heat related injuries this Thursday morning.
Evacuation orders remain in effect for homes two miles west of the Lake County line.
