The Sacramento Police Department has released more information about the BUI accident that occurred Sunday afternoon on the Sacramento River.
According to police, SacPD Marine officers responded to the accident and found a woman who was thrown off of the jet ski and was mildly hurt. The woman was wearing a life vest and police were able to pull her out of the water. She was taken to the hospital for her injuries.
The man involved in the accident, Guadalupe Alviso, 24, was tracked down by police and they found him to be intoxicated while operating the jet ski. He was charged with resisting/delaying arrest before being booked into county jail. He was also charged with boating under the influence, and violating his probation.
