ANTELOPE-

The Sacramento Sheriff’s Department is investigating a home invasion robbery that happened early Monday morning on Diane Drive in Antelope.

The homeowner said he left his garage door open after he took out his trash at about 6:30 a.m.  Shortly thereafter, three men entered his home through the garage, one of them holding a gun.

“They were very violent,” the homeowner, who was punched during the robbery, told FOX40.  “They were very physical. And they meant business.”

The robbers took the homeowner’s laptop computer, cellphone, and wallet containing about $600 in cash.

The Sheriff’s Department is looking for an older model blue sedan believed to be the suspect’ getaway car.

The victim is encouraging his neighbors to take precautions.

“Going out of the house, make sure you lock your garages, doors,” he said. “This is scary.”
