SEATTLE, Washington-

The Seattle Fire Department said Tuesday night that a man set his home on fire trying to kill a spider in the wall.

Apparently, firefighters said the man used a can of spray paint and a lighter.

The fire ended up causing about $60,000 in damage to the home, and the Red Cross came in to help the couple find a place to sleep.

No humans were hurt. It was unknown if he got the spider.
