A body that was discovered at a nursery fire in Vacaville earlier in January has been identified, according to Solano County Sheriff’s Office.
A shed behind a nursery caught fire just after 3 a.m. on July 9th. The shed held tractor equipment and it was ablaze, as well as several items stacked next to it. Once the fire was contained, firefighters found a dead body in the burned area.
Detectives have now identified the body as Robert Thomas III, 43, of Fairfield.
The cause of his death is still undertermined at this time, and sheriff’s detectives are actively investigating it.
Anyone with information about this case or had contact with Robert prior to July 9, 2014 are encouraged to contact the Solano County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau at (707) 784-7050 or the Solano County Dispatch Center at (707) 421-7090.
