SACRAMENTO-

Two businesses at an Arden-Arcade strip mall were damaged in a fire early Saturday morning, according to Sac Metro Fire. On Sunday, firefighters have ruled the fire as arson.

The fire was reported just after 5 a.m. at 925 Howe Avenue in the Arden Arcade area. When firefighters arrived they could see flames shooting from the business causing the fire to spread to a second building.

Firefighters forced their way into the building to fight the fire from the inside, but were forced out by the increasingly intense fire.

With help from Sacramento Fire Department, the fire was eventually knocked down. It damaged two businesses, and nobody was hurt by the fire.
