A Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputy was booked into jail on domestic violence charges over the weekend. Chris Bliss is now on out on bail and has been placed on administrative leave.
Bliss, 27, was arrested Saturday evening after deputies responded to a call from a concerned neighbor. He faces charges of domestic violence and battery against a person with a previous dating relationship.
He was placed on leave pending an investigation by the Sheriff’s Department’s Professional Standards Division.
Bliss will be in court to face charges on Wednesday.
Bliss worked at the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Facility.
