Academy Award nominees Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson will star in Empire,  a sexy, urban drama premiering Jan. 7 on FOX.

Howard plays "Lucious Lyon" the king of a music empire and former thug, who learns a debilitating disease will dethrone his reign in several years. The series follows how Lyon's three sons and ex-wife, played by Henson, battle for the position.

Black Friday shoppers hitting up Galleria at Roseville can get a little piece of the "Empire." A Fox Street team is handing out limited edition gold Empire tote bags. #GoldFriday runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, and from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
